Onur Yildirim

Director of Clinical Operations

An entrepreneur at heart, Onur originally trained in clinical psychology and worked as a psychologist during the first years of his career. Later, Onur earned his PhD in neuroscience from Radboud University and worked in the R&D and MA of renowned pharmaceutical companies such as Johnson & Johnson and Novartis, where he championed the research of psychedelic molecules as potential antidepressants. After his time in the pharmaceutical industry, he began his entrepreneurial career which eventually led him to Field Trip.

Hasret Alakus

Business Manager

Hasret has experience in social work, industrial engineering, IT, and management. He started his career at Alfa Laval, after which he got the opportunity to work at Cecil Alliance. There he fulfilled the role of project manager/business manager. After Cecil Alliance, he worked as a Business Consultant before starting the new adventure at Field Trip.

Hans van Wechem

Psychiatrist

Hans has almost 30 years of experience in psychiatry and started his career as a registered couples and family therapist before specializing in (group) psychotherapy of patients with early childhood trauma and attachment disorders. After a life-changing psychedelic experience, he recognized the potential of psychedelics in therapy. He now contributes to projects such as MAPS in their efforts to investigate MDMA for the treatment of PTSD and has a wide network in the psychedelic community. His main interest lies in contributing to a future in which the use of psychedelics will become widely accepted, both as an evidence-based treatment and as a powerful catalyst for personal and spiritual growth.

Jeanine Souren

Head Therapist

With an extensive professional career in mental health, Jeanine holds degrees (both MSc and specialisations) in psychology, psychotherapy, clinical sexology and couples & family therapy. She is accredited and licensed in the Netherlands and has worked as a lead clinician in several mental health settings. She is passionate about the therapeutic potential of psychedelics in combination with psychotherapy. Jeanine believes that by tapping into the deep psyche through psychedelics, suppressed patterns, emotions and beliefs can be made conscious again, allowing for healthy change.

Fleur van den Elzen

Psychodramatherapist

Fleur is a psychodrama therapist who specialises in schema-focused therapy. She has a lot of experience with treating people with personality disorders, depression, anxiety, trauma and addiction. Her way of working is serious but playful, confronting and easy to apply in daily life. As a kind of "Rehearsal of Life" Fleur supports the playing of real life events, emotions, thoughts, dreams, fantasies or 'unfinished business'. She makes space for healing through action. The spirited exploration and discovery leads to an encounter with yourself that is more powerful than if only verbal exchange were the medium.

Drew is a registered psychologist in the Netherlands with a Research Master's degree in Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience from Maastricht University. He has experience working in an international private clinic specializing in the treatment of personality disorders, trauma and addiction; and as a researcher investigating the neuropsychological effects and clinical application of psychedelic substances. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the value that psychedelics can bring to the lives of individuals seeking alternatives to currently available approaches. Mona Irrmischer

Facilitator Therapist

Mona is a neuropsychologist and received her PhD at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam on research into the effects of meditation and yoga. She has completed a course in psychotherapy and works as a researcher, freelance psychologist and registered mindfulness and compassion trainer. Her current research concerns the role of warm, non-judgmental presence with each other. This is also the basis of her approach in therapy and also in her experience of facilitating psychedelic experiences. Her non-judgmental approach and her multidisciplinary background enable her clients to integrate important aspects in life. Her qualities make her a warm and empathetic facilitator and therapist.

Making the connection that creates something beautiful fascinates her and gives her a good feeling. The art of making people feel welcome, where expectations are not only met but exceeded, that is Antine's mission. Thor Kristjánsson

Care Coordinator

Thor was born and raised in Iceland and has spent his life travelling and living in various countries such as Costa Rica, Florence, Berlin and Amsterdam. Hospitality, travel and photography have gone hand in hand for Thor over the years, eventually leading him to Amsterdam where he received his BBA degree in Hospitality Business Management. Thor's passion for psychedelics can be traced back to travels through the Peruvian rainforest, but came back to life when he moved to the Netherlands.

Ellen has over 25 years of experience as a psychiatric nurse. She works on the basis of the holistic approach and believes that psychedelic-assisted therapy can be a nice alternative for people who want to go further than just treating symptoms. At Field Trip Ellen will monitor the mental and physical well-being during the sessions. She is an enthusiastic, sensitive and dedicated person and loves to spend time in nature.
